Project Overview
The Bella Coola aggregates project includes construction of a marine loading facility
to transport aggregates from the adjacent quarry onto sea-going vessels. Rock will be
available on the Sutlej Point site, legally known as DL33 with an estimated 30,000,000+ tonnes
in reserve.
DL33 - Foreshore Lease
A foreshore lease application was submitted through
BC Assets and Land Corp in January, 2000. An
application under the Navigable Water Protection Act (NWPA)
was submitted in February, 2000 by Villholth Jensen &
Associates Ltd.
